Welcome to this online museum dedicated to preserving vintage handheld video games from the 1970s and 80s. These miniature, self-contained games are historically interesting because each game has unique hardware as well as software. With simple but often elegant gameplay, and a wide variety of shapes and sizes - they tell a story what handheld video games were like before the Nintendo Gameboy and the Atari Lynx.
Is there a particular vintage handheld game that you would like to find in the museum or store? Try out my search engine and you just might find it! Each game in the museum contains information like manufacturer, date, and a brief gameplay summary. For your viewing pleasure, each game entry also has an average of 4 pictures - showing the game, box typography, contents, and usually a 'screenshot' too. Pictures of the box graphics are included as I find them to be entertaining (and often ridiculous) depictions of golden-age video game marketing. Whether you are a gaming fan or not, I hope you enjoy these games as much as I do :)
